FAQ

Practical answers before you enquire

If a detail has not yet been confirmed as a standard inclusion, it will be stated clearly in your proposal.

Do I need an expensive camera?

No. Good photography starts with observation, light and composition. Bring the camera or phone you already use and the coaching will meet you there.

Can I join with only a smartphone?

Yes. Smartphone photography can be included when that option is enabled, with a focus on practical controls, composition, light and a simple editing workflow.

Are the tours suitable for beginners?

Yes. The pace and teaching are adapted to your experience, from understanding basic controls to refining an established landscape workflow.

How large are the groups?

Experiences are private and normally designed for 1–4 guests.

What happens if the weather changes?

Plans may be adjusted for safety, access and photographic conditions. Any alternatives and practical terms are confirmed in your proposal before booking.

Are the Northern Lights guaranteed?

No. Auroras and clear skies are natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed. A night-focused experience would be planned around the best realistic opportunity available.

Can the experience be customised?

Yes. Your interests, level, equipment, mobility considerations and available time help shape the proposal.

Is transport included?

Transport arrangements are not yet published as a standard inclusion. Your proposal will state the meeting point, transport plan and exactly what is included.

What should I wear?

Bring warm layers, waterproof and wind-resistant outerwear, and footwear suitable for the agreed setting. More specific guidance will be shared with the confirmed plan.

How do I request a date?

Send an enquiry with your preferred and alternative dates. A date is only confirmed after the details have been agreed and accepted by Óli.
